While the big excitement of the day is that pre-orders on the iPhone 13 have opened up, we noticed another bit of exciting Apple news – especially for anyone who has been keen on picking up a discount on the iPhone 12 phones.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max, which is no longer available to buy from Apple, now has £200 off on Amazon.
The offer is on the model with 256GB storage, though you can also save £128 on the 128GB option. The discounts drop prices to £999 and £970, for the 256GB and 128GB variants respectively, which isn’t too shabby compared to the original £1,199 and £1,099 price tags.
Amazon’s discounts are the biggest we’ve seen on the Pro Max models since the phones launched in November 2020.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is the largest handset of last year’s range, with a 6.7in Super Retina XDR OLED display. It boasts the most advanced cameras too, with aperture sizes up to f/2.2 (the iPhone 12 Pro maxes out at f/2.0).
The enhanced cameras on the 12 Pro Max make it especially suited for low-light photography. In fact, with larger light sensors (47% larger) the iPhone 12 Pro Max boasts an 87% improvement in lowlight photography compared to the 11 Pro Max.
The 12 Pro Max also offers the strongest battery life of all the iPhone 12 range phones with a 3,687mAh capacity. See our full review of the iPhone 12 Pro Max where it received a solid 4/5 stars.
